The Brightest Star

What am I?

It is a question
I have asked myself
For a very long time...

Maybe a freak?

A thing made by man?

I truly do not know anymore...

Only that I was meant to be

A god.

And turned out a monster.

A shame, then,

That Cipher is well and truly gone...

I cannot claim vengeance.
For turning my soul to pure Shadow,

They can never pay.

So the world will pay instead.

Humans did this to me...

...and it is human blood

That shall fill every street in every city;
I will show everything

The pain I have felt.

All will either submit or die.

My soul has become twisted and dark

In my never-ending quest for retribution...

But I know also that now,

I am beyond redemption.

I have taken a dark path,

And one I cannot turn from.

I can never stop,

Or I will lose all reason

To keep going.

For I have lost everything...

And have nothing left to live for.

People have talked of Purification...

..but I don't believe in it.

Someone who has commited as much sins as I

Could never even hope for purity.

I have gone too far,

Done too much to be saved now.

So why the brightest star?
Why is that my name?
Sirius...it's hardly fitting for a sinner like myself.

So why did I choose it?

But of course...

I have lived so long as a Shadow Pokeon,

That I have almost forgotten my life before now.

The brightest star...

Maybe when I die, I'll get to see it up close..

And when I do,

I'll see the Light once more.

For now, I will continue making the world bleed...

...until it can bleed no longer.
