Honey Twilight
Breathe upon me
A whisper of truths
Upon a breath as sweet as life
Lay upon me
A touch of honey
Spun into golden glass twines
Rain upon me
Tears of the past
Falling from twilight eyes
Leave upon me
Heavy guilt
Weighing upon a heart so weak
Whisper onto me
A voice of the past
Singing sorrowful hymns of scars that forever last
As I lie in heavy dew
Of a dark nights gathering tears
A thought so fine brushes softly along my mind
If my voice could transcend the past
I would whisper ever so softly
"Oh, how I wish you were here with me."
