Hi. I wish I owned Naruto but I don't so now on with the story.

Uchiha Sasuke leaned against the tree and sighed in frustration. He along with the rest of Team Hebi had been searching for his brother, but it wasn't exactly going the way he wanted. They hadn't found any clues to where his brother was. Right now, they were taking a short break to eat lunch. He had already finished eating and was waiting for the others to finish theirs.

He rested his head against the trunk and closed his eyes. He felt himself begin to get sleepy. He hadn't been sleeping well lately because of nightmares. He figured he could take a small ten minute nap while everyone else finished lunch, but before he could fall asleep, he felt something soft land in his hand that was resting in his lap.

Sasuke opened his eyes and saw a small cherry blossom resting in the palm of his hand. He looked around and, wondering was it had come from. That was when he noticed that he was sitting under a cherry blossom tree. He hadn't noticed it before because he had been to busy thinking about his brother. The small flower must have fallen from its branch.

He looked down at the small flower in his hand and was immediately reminded of the pink haired girl he had known in his younger days, back we still lived in Konoha. That annoying girl. He hadn't thought about her in a while, because every time he did, he would get a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. He didn't know what it meant, and he didn't like that feeling so he just tried not to think of her. 'Sakura,' he thought. 'You don't even have to be in my presence to be annoying.'

Suddenly Sasuke heard shouts and looked up to see Karin beating up on Suigetsu again; probably for something he had said. He rolled his eyes at the scene. Truthfully, he couldn't stand Karin. She wouldn't even be on Team Hebi if it wasn't for her special ability.

He turned his attention back to the flower. Karin was nothing like Sakura. Karin only cared for his looks while Sakura truly cared for him. She had told him the night when he left how much she had loved him. He realized Sakura did have her qualities too. She was always smiling and trying to keep peace between Naruto and him. She always worried about him, and she had been the only one to stop him when he was losing control because of the curse mark. When they were younger, she was always following him around and asking him on dates. She was just another fan girl in the beginning, but slowly she had become a valuable comrade to him.

"Sasuke-kun?" Karin suddenly asked, interrupting his thoughts. "Is something wrong?"

Sasuke looked up to see Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo looking at him with curious faces. He realized that he had been smiling sadly down at the flower. "It's nothing," he said. He stood up, crushing the delicate flower in his hands. "Let's get going," he commanded.

He's stupid for getting distracted by that girl. Hadn't he broken the bonds between them? He had to kill his brother. He didn't have the time to sit around and miss her. He started to walk away with the rest of Team Hebi and droped the crushed flower, leaving it behind, just like what he did to her.

Maybe one day he would be able to go back to Konoha and live a happy life with her in it, but right now, he was to busy to think about happy endings.
