A/n: Please don't report me for NO RESON!

I've already had that happen once.

The song is Slipped away- Avril Lavigne

Read and review please!

Flames welcome.

I miss you, miss you so bad
I don't forget you, oh it's so sad
I hope you can hear me
I remember it clearly

The night covered by a vale of darkness.

The trees and bushes barley visible.

I can see the sun break over the clouds, the vale lifted.

I notice this as I walk on the old road that lined the fields, running my hand over the rough bark of the fence that lined the road.

I didn't get around to kiss you
Goodbye on the hand
I wish that I could see you again
I know that I can't

As I walk along this dusty road,

I see the vale rising.

The trees visible once again, the morning glories waking from there dreams.

She would have loved this, a shocking dawn, the kind where you step back and take another look never wanting the picture to leave your mind.

Can she see this now, from where she is?

Had my wake up
Won't you wake up
I keep asking why
And I can't take it
It wasn't fake
It happened, you passed by

I see the river where she fell.

The water is low, unlike the high rushing currents that took her away.

I have to see her, no matter the risks.

I cross the bridge slowly, taking in all the surroundings carefully, never wanting to forget it.

I cross the bridge to Terabithia.

Now your gone, now your gone
There you go, there you go
Somewhere I can't bring you back
Now your gone, now your gone
There you go, there you go,
Somewhere your not coming back

I had to say my official goodbye.

The one I never got when she was alive.

I climb to the watchtower of our castle.

"Goodbye, Leslie, true queen of Terabithia! You will be missed greatly." I call, reaching for the sky.

I look down to see my kingdom, bidding their own farewells.

I miss you, miss you so bad
I don't forget you, oh it's so sad
I hope you can hear me

"Goodbye Leslie…" I heard the soft whisper behind me.

"May Belle."

"She was like the rings in the water, Jess, we couldn't catch her, the closer we got she just got farther a-away. I miss her, Jess, I m-miss her…" I held her small shaking body close to my chest.

Together in unison we said it one last time,

"Goodbye, Leslie, goodbye…"
