Me: Hey all!! Yeppers, this is silvertyra on her new account!! I will be rewriting a lot of my old marital, along with completing some. I'm planning on completing my story "Shark Attack." I will also be making and hopefully finishing some Degrassi stories.

So, this is basicially the same story from my other account, just written better and changed a bit. I wrote this back in 7th grade, and now I'm in 9th. That outta tell you something…

Chapter 1

The Promise

Lea Wheeler made her way to the Slifer boy's dorm. Why did Jaden Yuki of all people want to see her? Just some mutt's sister… (Me: Mehehe… long lost sister!!) She brushed her red tinted blonde hair behind her shoulders onto the back of her Silfer Red uniform. Her icy blue eyes scanned the area.

She soon spotted two of Jaden's friends, Syrus Truesdale and Chumley. (Me: Poopy… I forgot Chumley's last name… I haven't watched GX in forever..) Syrus looked at her, and then quickly looked away, pretending to be interested in his pale fingertips.

"Syrus is it?" she asked.

He nodded, still staring at his fingers as if they'd cure cancer.

"So... Syrus, where's Jaden?"

Syrus looked up at her, then looked away again with a slight jump. Eek! I made eye-contact…

"Just waking up," Chumley grumbled.

Lea was about to say something, but Jaden cut her off with a, "'Ello all!" Jaden spotted Lea. "You came."

"Yea, you said something about wanting a duel.. so I-" she stopped herself when she saw a greenish glow from behind the dorm. "What's that?"

Chumley, without looking, said hopefully, "Maybe a grilled cheese sandwich? Or French fries with cheese…? Or both…? Yummm…"

Jaden rolled his eyes. "Doubt it, Chums."

Lea perked up, she loved checking things out. "Let's go see!!"

Jaden followed, "Great idea!!"

Chumley followed the two of them.

"Hey!!! Guys!" poor loney Syrus yelled, "What about- awww.. I'm coming…"

They all ran around back where they ran into Chazz who was also checking out the oddity of the light. "Seems to be a portal.." Chazz said to everyone and no one.

"Well, let's see what's on the other side!" Jaden said. Without a second though, Jaden went through, dragging Chumley with him.

"Well, damn… Guess I'll have to follow those idiots.." Chazz muttered, going in after them.

Lea started to go, "Coming Sy?" she asked.

"Well…. I dunno… I mean… there could be more shadow riders… or shadow games…" he whined. "I don't wanna get hurt."

Lea grabbed the green-haired boy's hand. "Don't worry, Syrus. I'll make sure nothing happens you.. and if it does, I'll make it right.. I wouldn't let you get killed." Syrus blushed. "I promise.." she finished. "But hey!" she said as they stepped through the portal. "What could happen??"
