Author Note: This is my first Rurouni Senshin fanfic, its a pretty short one-shot type thing, Anyway, hope you all like it.

Kenshin stepped out into the sunny backyard of the dojo
Kenshin stepped out into the sunny backyard of the dojo. Time it seemed, to get started on the laundry. He'd already gathered the dirty clothes together and now he stacked them beside the washbasin. As he reached for the first item, Sanosuke walked into the yard.
"Hey Kenshin!" Sano called, heading over to him. "How's it going? I just came over to see if you wanted to, uhh… "hang-out" at my place for a bit." Sano's grin was wide.
"Sheesha has chores to do, that he does." Kenshin replied, albeit wistfully.
"Well, coming to my place is more fun, right?" Sano challenged.
Kenshin thought about that—the dirty laundry might be cleaner than Sano's place, and the water would be refreshing on such a hot day. But, at Sano's he'd be appreciating the heat, which is always better than avoiding it.
The rhythm of scrubbing laundry was soothing—but he could think of better things to occupy his hands…hmm…Sano's place?...Kaoru-dono might be mad if he didn't do the chores, but there would be plenty of time for that later… they could "hang-out" quickly…
He liked doing laundry, but if it was the choice of laundry or Sano….
While he was lost in thought, Kaoru came out to inquire about the status of the laundry—the bokken in her hand decided his dilemma.
He would do the laundry—at Sano's!
