Link: An Ode
Pick up your Wiimotes, children.
It's time to save the kingdom.
To send Link on another adventure.
Across the desert,
Through the sea,
Over ice mountains,
Through woods.
It's all crap, isn't it?
How many times has old Link fallen on
Spikes
Bottomless Pits
Or been
Stabbed
Sliced
And Chopped?
He should be dead by now!
But he's not.
Even though that he's died.
Repeatedly.
In so many different ways.
But he lives on to save another kingdom.
Link lives on, even though he shouldn't.
In real life,
Ganon would have taken over the world by now.
Termina would have been crushed by the moon.
Zelda would be Ganon's puppet,
The Triforce would be gone,
And Link would be long dead.
Good thing it's not real life.
