"What do you think he'll be when he grows up?" She asked, resting a hand gently on her stomach.
Sawyer raised an eyebrow. "He?"
"Well, I dunno… yeah, he." Ana replied, grinning.
"Okay then. How'm I s'posd to know what he'll be?"
"Well what do you think? You know, that thing where you concentrate really hard -
"Alright, alright." Sawyer sighed, then, "I don't know! Knowing his DNA, probably a hitman."
Ana whacked him on the arm, hard. "Be serious."
Sawyer grinned at her, dimples appearing in his cheeks. "I was bein' serious."
Ana glared at him, then a smile formed on her face. "I think he'll be a doctor."
Sawyer scowled. "No way." He muttered, and Ana laughed.
"You are so sensitive." She giggled.
"I ain't sensitive."
"You are."
"I ain't!" Sawyer hit her on the shoulder, though not quite as hard as she had hit him.
"Hey!" Ana punched him and he hit her back, then she whacked him in the stomach and jumped up, sprinting away from him. Sawyer recovered quickly and headed after her, quickly catching up.
Hurley and Charlie looked up from where they were standing knee deep in the ocean, trying in vain to fish. They watched as Sawyer tackled Ana to the ground, grinned and said something that made her laugh, then kissed her lips softly.
"She's so good for him." Hurley said.
"Huh?"
"Dude, you remember way back when we first got here? That guy couldn't be nice to anyone. He wouldn't do anything that didn't benefit himself, or say anything nice or helpful to anyone. Since she's arrived, he's… he's changed. And it's good."
Charlie grinned. "Yeah, I reckon. Except now you can't talk to one of them while the other's around."
"Why not?"
"Mate…" Charlie nodded back to the couple, still lying in the sand, kissing.
Hurley laughed. "Okay, you're right. They're so - dude, is that a fish!"
They both dived for it and missed, falling over in the water noisily. Sawyer jumped and looked around, murmuring a few curses under his breath. Ana just laughed and slid her arms around his neck for another kiss, not before muttering to him one word,
"Sensitive."
