Sorry this is ... unexcusably short (no pun intendedXD) . But I just wrote 994 words today for Nano and have been writing a average of 700-1000 words a day for my Nano...So I don't have a lot of time for much other then that.
Oh and Artemis Fowl Series does not belong to me.
Holly and Artemis had finished chasing a crazy pixie, removing the phantom faeries from Artemis's brothers, parents, a servant, and oddly enough a porcupine.
They were standing outside the manor. The sky was darkening behind them and Holly could feel the wind blowing on her check as she put on her wings.
"Holly?" said Artemis, breaking the silence.
Holly flew up, so she could be at eye level of Artemis.
He smiled, a surprisingly genuine one "Holly?"
He took a deep breath ,swallowing and willing the words to come out"Holly, I don't suppose…..?"
She shook her head anticipating the question "No Artemis"
His face fell, but he nodded. "We will always be friends though Holly?"
"Of course Arty" she said. Then Artemis did something very unlike the genius. He kissed her on the check.
Holly blinked startled, but recovered.
"It was a successful mission" he said changing the subject, as she fired up her wings. "Opal's in jail" he chuckled "Hopefully, she'll stay there"
"I hope so" she said wryly, I suppose you never know , we could get lucky Holly thought,
"Until next time" she added before flying up into the midnight blue night sky.
She really hope Foaly hadn't tapped in to that conversation.
