Title: Blood
A/N: So I went to a family reunion during the summer and on the drive back, I wrote a bunch of fanfiction. I edited this one slightly because it started out with a sentence per line and was pretty bare. You would have finished it in less than a minute.

"How did that happen?" He asked quietly, Luna looked up from the spot on the bench and turned her hand over. A large gash on the back that went up a little bit. They'd wrapped it up before but Luna was quite intrigued in looking at it.
"Death Eater." She replied.
"I'm sorry." Draco said, like he was admitting some big secret or he had done it. He took the empty seat next to her, but glanced cautiously out to the table behind them, his parents giving small, weak smiles that encouraged him they'd be quite alright with him talking to a Ravenclaw.
"Why?" She asked. "You aren't one."
"I was."
"You didn't do it."
"I could have."
"No, you couldn't."
"How so?" He asked after a moment of silence.
"You're too much like a turtle."
"Slow?"
"No, hard exterior, soft interior."
He didn't respond to her, she smiled and looked at him, he was watching the wound drip blood to the floor. "It means you're nice."
"I'm not."
"You are. You didn't torture me at your house."
"It wasn't mine then." He sighed and looked away from her. "That just means I was a coward."
"My mother always said that you should never try to push your point too far."
"What does that mean?"
"I'm not going to force you to think you're nice."
"I'm not." He replied, he looked up from her hand and to her. "I really am just a coward." She nudged him slightly and he sighed.
"I'm guessing we will be repeating this year."
"Most likely."
"Maybe we'll be sorted again."
"So?"
"Might be a lot more Gryffindors."
"You'd be one of them. Though Ravenclaw suits you." Luna laughed in agreement.
"Slytherin suits you."
"See? Not nice."
"No, still nice."
"Still?"
"People change."
"Did you?"
"Probably." She admitted, shifting in her seat. "Did you notice by the way?"
"What?"
"That you're wrapping my hand?" Draco blinked and looked down at her hand, sure enough the long bandage that was resting on the table when he sat down was wrapped securely around her hand.
