Entry the First
Well, the time has come again. The crystal's power has begun to wane, and our duty calls. We have already left as I am writing this, Tristen is currently driving the wagon up the road, along the beach. The empty chalice across from me seems daunting, but if we could fill it last year, we can fill it again. We will have to travel even farther this time, since most of the myrrh trees in the area have dried up for the time being. However, the villagers have been complaining about goblin troubles lately, so perhaps we could look into that…
The other caravaners seem to be in good spirits. Tristen is steering our wagon, and Yusha is arguing with him on where we should be headed. She should learn to trust his sense of direction, although it has failed us in the past… Se Kan is out there as well, walking with the papaopamus. He and Yusha were speaking of giving her a proper name earlier. He seemed to be quieter than usual today, though. Perhaps he did not want to say goodbye to his family again? He would never admit to it though.
Kenach is inside the wagon with me. His helmet is pulled down over his face, I believe he is taking a nap. Despite being such a capable warrior, he seems to be prone to falling asleep. This summer heat must not help his keeping awake, either. Good thing he is not our navigator…
It seems Yusha and Tristen have given up their arguing now, we are stopping for the night. It has been a long day, oddly enough.
