N\B: I'm italian and english is not my main language, so I'd like to apologize in advance for all the weird sentences you're sure to find in my story. Please, let me know if you happen to spot some big mistake!
Anyway, the following short story is based on that cute official image from Spirit of Justice artbook where we can see Athena and Simon have the very same dialogue I reported in the story. Hope you like it!

A gentle sun warmed up Athena's bare arms. Simon was sitting right at her side, legs crossed and some business paper in his hand. The heavy black coat was resting on the bench, together with Athena's sun colored jacket.

The young girl leaned to spy on her friend, who was busy nibbling absently one of Taka's feathers. There was something in the way he was looking... something new, maybe, something forgotten. Something that made his face look almost -miraculously, she would say- relaxed. She found herself staring at him softened, and for the briefest of moments she almost thought that white strand of him was black once again, and the marks carved by long years of silent tears were gone. Yeah, it almost looked like... suddenly, her eyes widened with realization.

«Simon», she called softly.

He looked up, the shadow of a faint smile on his lips.

«Hmm?»

«Your...».

Athena reached to him until her trembling fingers touched his face.

«...your cheeks. The marks are starting to fade...».

Simon clashed with her blue, shiny eyes. And then a warmth that nothing had to do with the sun grew from the spot her fingers were touching and began to flow inside him, until it burst into his very chest.

«...Thanks to you».
