Author's Note: There are no ships in this. It is a drabble on Severus' friendship with someone. I hope he doesn't seem out of character, I'm kind of bad writing with Slytherins. Takes place a few weeks after the attempted sacking of Hagrid. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: If you've seen one, you've seen all, I do not own Harry Potter.
Severus Snape stormed the corridors, crowds of students parting quickly as to not to take part of his unknown wrath. Within seconds he arrived where he wanted to be: The staff room. He needed to hurry, his only chance to corner the coward had come at last.
When he entered, his black robes theatrically billowing behind him, he had to force himself to regain control of his temper that was threatening to rise. It was all too easy, the coward was already here.
"Hello Dawlish" He drawled to the pale auror who was twitching nervously.
"Oh! Um. . . Hello Severus" He said looking up, his eyes widening for a second, then he looked back down. Severus quickly sat down next to him in another empty chair. He began studying Dawlish, before allowing a smirk to befall his face.
"That was a cowardly thing to do." He whispered in his silky voice. Dawlish whipped up at him, fear flooding his eyes.
"And what do you mean?" He asked, but feared the answer.
"You know perfectly what I mean. Obviously you should had been in Hufflepuff, the cowards with no thinking capabilities go in that House. I'm actually shocked to think that you," He said dangerously pausing for a second "Would actually participate in something like that"
"If you were talking about the sackin-" Dawlish started but Severus shook his head. "No, not that. The other event, in which you willingly participated in. That is what I am talking about"
"Now wait just a moment!" Dawlish started fear lost in anger. "I'm pretty sure Dolores said to stun anyone who got in the way."
"But Minerva, Dawlish! The one who was your head of house! One of the most respected witches in the world!" Severus said, getting angrier by the second. Controlling his voice as to not disturb any classes nearby, he just settled for going back to his dangerous voice. "She clearly identified herself, therefore it seems like you purposefully aimed for her."
"I didn't! And this was weeks ago, she's alive so why does it matter?"
"But she's weak! And your stunning adding to the other three really damaged her. So I'd suggest you leave the castle before I really lose control. Minerva's not the only whose can transfigure People into animals." Severus said, only his eyes revealing how disgusted he was at Dawlish. Dawlish muttered something inaudible, then got up, scurrying out of the room.
"Now, to grading those horrendous essays" Severus groaned summoning essays he had collected that day.
