Once upon a time, the one eyed shinobi had two eyes, a family, a clan. He had a younger cousin, and an even younger cousin who loved coloring. The younger cousin one day mentioned that the even younger cousin had drawn and colored a model of the Sharingan.
Shisui saw the drawing. He used his own Sharingan to stick every detail in his permanent memory.
He now used this memory to draw and color a perfect replica of a 3 year old's highly accurate representation of the most feared of all non-mythical ocular jutsu.
He then drew another one.
And another.
He spent his entire night crafting replicas.
So he was ready the next morning when he came across Orochimaru in the hallway.
"Good Morning, Orochi-chan!" He said cheerily.
Orochimaru looked… quite surprised, if Shisui was being honest.
Which was odd, because he was just so friendly yesterday when he mentioned his goal of acquiring Shisui's eye. Very strange indeed that he now looked ready to bolt.
Maybe it was the huge smile.
Or the wide, twitching eye from no sleep.
"So, to answer you from yesterday - I think, yes. Yes, I will give you a Sharingan! In fact-"
He pulled out the storage scroll and unsealed-
"Have a THOUSAND!"
In an instant a thousand (or more, he kinda lost count of the exact number at 999 because he was too tired to remember what came next) exact copies of an inverted color (because 3 year olds sometimes get colors mixed up), perfectly round (because three year olds are working on shapes), square pupiled (because said three year old saw plenty of goats, but only a glimpse of the actual eye) Sharingan (that barely resembled one, but was perfect nonetheless) fluttered down to bury the Sannin.
"Tobi helps!"
The higher pitched voice of Akatsuki's other one-eyed shinobi (Shisui thought so, anyway, at least he'd never seen a second eye) rang through the hallway and-
Well, the number of paper eyes doubled.
How Tobi had done it was a mystery to all.
For once (probably due to lack of sleep), Shisui didn't question a single thing about this situation.

Hello all!
So. It's been a while. A really long while.
And it will probably still be a while until I post anything major. But I have too many stories tumbling around in my head to be away permanently.
For now, though, I hope you enjoyed this very cracky blurb. I'm not planning on adding anything more, but you never know!
