AN: Okay, so. I got bored and my bff blueangel326 and I were in the crack mood. Craziness ensued. This is what happens when you eat spagetti at 2am, I guess. Anyway. Enjoy, I suppose. (Frankly, I think this could be a true story. ^.^)

Once upon a time, there was an orange jumpsuit. This orange jumpsuit remained in the store for many, many years. This was a sad jumpsuit. A very distraught jumpsuit, in fact.

Once upon the same time, there was a boy named Naruto. This boy was an orphan. He was a very, very sad orphan. He also didn't have very many clothes, and no one liked him enough to buy him said clothes. This was a sad Naruto. A very distraught Naruto, in fact.

However! One day, the Sad Naruto came across a bit of money. Enough money to buy himself a new outfit, even. (Which was good, because his pants were starting to get a wee bit too short on him. Not to mention the collar of his shirt was beginning to choke him.) Naruto quickly ran outside of his house with his nice froggy purse out in front of him, singing the whole way about how he was going to get a new outfit, one that would get him noticed. And that he could wear for a long time. A very long time.

Naruto arrived at the clothing store with a big smile on his face. The store clerk scoffed at him, but Naruto only blew a raspberry at him and began to look around the store. For five agonizing minutes, Naruto searched the store to find an outfit that was loud, brash, and annoying. Like him. He was almost ready to give up…when he saw it.

It was…absolutely amazing. Beautiful, even. It was almost as if he saw his name plastered on the front of it. He knew that it was meant to be. Quickly, Naruto made his way over to the store clerk, as if he were afraid someone would buy it if it he didn't hurry. (As if.) The store clerk seemed perplexed at his choice, but didn't think too much of it. (Figured that the fox boy would like the outfit he had been trying to sell for the past two years.)

Gladly, Naruto used almost all of his savings for his new orange jumpsuit and ducked behind the store to change into it. Without a care, he discarded his old clothes and marched proudly down the street in his new orange jumpsuit. The people he passed gave him curious looks (as opposed to the snarls he usually got), but Naruto paid them no heed.

"You know," he muttered, "I think this is the start of something beautiful."

Of course, it didn't say anything, but Naruto knew that the jumpsuit agreed.
