"There finished now to send to him."
The Next Day
"Hey what's this?" Roy said picking up the envelope from his desk. "Wait, hey men did one of you plan on playing a trick on me?"
"No sir!" The officers said in unison.
"So this isn't familiar to you?" Roy said flashing the card at them.
"Oh, looks like you have an admirer." One said.
"Fine you're dismissed." Roy said noticing the shock in their eyes when they saw the card.
Mustang carefully opened the envelope and read the card. At the bottom was a kiss mark in light pink lipstick.
Roy called the main office and told them to gather all the women wearing lipstick, and send them to his office.
"Ladies this is just a test you can relax I just wanted to check something." He said pulling out the card ready to match the sample.
Roy got to the last woman, Riza Hawkeye.
"Riza why are you wearing lipstick?" Roy asked knowing that the lieutenant never wore makeup.
Riza saluted the colonel, "Colonel I thought it would be a nice change, sir!" Riza said loosening her salute.
Roy held up the sample to her lips, a perfect match. Roy grabbed Riza and passionately kissed her, the lieutenant pushed away.
"What's wrong lieutenant?" Roy said while the other girls stared.
"Sir, I find these actions inappropriate for a working facility, Sir." She said with a salute and a blush spreading across her cheeks.
"It was just a test lieutenant, at ease." Roy said.
"Hey, if that was a test why weren't we given it?" One woman said with jealousy.
"I simply forgot and remembered I was going to perform it when I got to Riza, er lieutenant Hawkeye, I mean." Roy corrected himself quickly knowing that he had never called her by her first name, in a long time.
"You're dismissed." Roy said with a wave of his hand. "Lieutenant stay here." Roy said closing the door before she could get out.
"Yes sir?"
"I know it was you who sent the note."
"I'm sorry if it upset you I just, I felt this way for a long time and I..." She was cut off by a kiss.
"You will be dinning with me tonight." Roy said walking towards the window.
"Is that an order?" Riza asked.
"Yes." Colonel mustang replied.
Sorry I always thought they were perfect for each other that's why I wrote this.
