NCIS: Kiss The Girl

Summary: Tony figures out his feelings for Kate, how will he show them? Tate fic. Based on the song "Kiss the Girl" by Ashley Tisdale, or The Little Mermaid, whichever one you want.

Disclaimer: I don't own NCIS, Donald Belisarius does, I wish I owned NCIS though, Sasha Alexander would definitely be back on the show then.

Rating: K+

A/N: I have been listening to this song a lot lately, then I saw the Tate video on YouTube for this song, so I thought that it was a perfect Tate song fic. So here it is.

There you see her,

Sitting there across the way,

She don't got a lot to say,

But there's something about her.

Tony was starring at Kate; he had been for some time now. Kate looked up at him, their eyes locking, both of them holding the gaze.

Yes you want her,

Look at her you know you do,

Possible she wants it too,

There is one way to ask her.

It was the moment that their eyes locked, Tony figured out his true feelings for Kate. Sure he knew that he liked her, but in that moment, he realized, he loved her. Tony knew, though, that Kate thought of him like a brother, nothing more.

Sha la la la la la la la,

My oh my,

Looks like the boy's to shy,

Ain't gonna kiss the girl.

Kate had liked Tony since Air Force One, Fox Trot 29000, Kate's mind corrected herself. But in the moment that their eyes met, she knew that she loved him. So when Tony asked Kate to meet him in the elevator, her heart flipped.

Sha la la la la la la la,

Ain't that sad,

It's such a shame, too bad,

You gonna, miss the girl.

Tony and Kate walked to the elevator together; neither of them said anything as Tony turned off the elevator. When it stopped, they were still quiet, just standing there staring at each other.

Now's your moment,

Floating in a blue lagoon,

Boy you better do it soon,

No time would be better.

"Tony, did you want to tell me something?"

"Kate I…" but Tony couldn't finish.

Sha la la la la la la la,

Don't stop now,

Don't try to hide it how,

You want to, kiss the girl.

Tony tried to look away from Kate, to hide it, but Kate took her hand, and turned his head to her. When their eyes locked again, the song that was stuck in Tony's head appeared again.

Sha la la la la la la la,

Music plays,

What does the music say?

You gotta, kiss the girl.

So when Kate let go of Tony, he looked in her eyes again.

"Tony, is everything okay?"

"Kate I…" But Tony did otherwise. He grabbed Kate by the waist, pulled her closer to him, and kissed her.

Tony was surprised when Kate wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed back. When they finally broke apart, it was for air.

"Kate, I love you."

"I love you too, Tony." Tony kissed Kate again. When it was necessary for air again, they broke apart, and turned the elevator back on.

When they walked out, they both had huge smiles on their faces. Gibbs noticed this and eyed them suspiciously.

"Todd, DiNozzo," Kate and Tony looked at each other nervously, "it's about damn time. Now, get back to work."

Tony smiled, never, in his life, had listening to the radio on the way to work, been this effective, in a good way.

A/N: This is a one shot, I don't usually write them, so for my next one, some feedback would be nice, so R&R please. Tell me if you liked it or hated it, or if I have some huge grammar, or spelling problems.
