Hey everyone out there. The countdown's hitting four now thanks to this tale. Now let's see what really happened.
I don't own the TMNT or any of the Super Turtles.
The humming that rang out with the bright light in the sky went hand in hand with that final silence you heard just before the bullet in that gun killed an innocent or non-innocent victim down on Main Street or in the typical Crime Alley.
Of course, THAT is a different story altogether.
The sky got cold, then warm, the cold again and ended with warm. He was up much higher than he needed to be but the further the better. It couldn't make the world vanish if it wasn't on the world to begin with. There was logic in that right? Graviturtle wasn't entirely sure what the range of the Nullifacater was, but he'd have to trust that this was far enough to save the world and maybe, himself.
He turned and held his breath as his whip lashed out, throwing the Nullifacater into the upper stratosphere. When that was over he turned and smiled at the objects that were floating towards him.
Graviturtle was nothing if he didn't plan for something like this. Pieces of metal, directly from the Sliver's fortress floated towards him as whip continued rotating in the air. They surrounded the Super Turtle just as the Nullifacater got it's first and ONLY glance down at the earth and above the heavens.
There was the light and a wave of energy as the metal casings fell apart around Graviturtle.
Back on the ground, three faces looked up at the sky in worry, some part of them already giving up, since the forth had already disappeared in a dimensional blur. Blue sky, no disappearing ground underneath their feet and the birds were still singing. But, nothing flying in from the sky.
"Let's go home," Shellectro said with a solemn scowl.
"Yeah," Griddex said without meaning it.
Then, in a cliché-like in the move of the parting clouds, loomed a turtle shaped figure.
"Grav!" Blobboid shouted.
Shellectro's and Griddex's heads turned up to the sky in sharp mirrored movements.
There he was!
"Grav!"
"But how did you escape?" Shellectro asked.
Graviturtle shook his head like a parent would at an ignorant child, "The Nullifacater was programmed to make everything outside the tower disappear. It was a simple thought to take some of the plates of metal from the surface of the tower and create a barrier around me."
"I aughta punch you to Jupiter for a move that stupid!" Blobboid yelled.
Graviturtle did that annoying shrug shoulder thing and coiled his whip to hang back onto his belt.
It was then that the Super Turtles caught the shadow in the distance.
"SLIVER FREEZE!" Griddex yelled.
So, it wasn't but a moment later that the four Super Turtles, were once again on the chase for their father and nemesis.
OK, it's short. I'm getting lazy. I admit it. It's late though and have had the worst toothache all day! I can barely eat anything that isn't a liquid.
Anyways, this was the continuation of my first Super Turtles one-shot. Hope you enjoyed most of my work for these past years. My retirement looms closer and closer each day.
Review if you want. I dare someone to put a single letter on a review and post it. Just so I can brag about the uniqueness of it.
You all rule!
