I am on my hands and knees with rain falling above me.Tears run down my cheeks, mixing with the rain drops. A sob escapes my lips; my hair, sopping wet, falls around my face. Bodies and blood surround me-the bodies of my friends and family, of the town people. Babies, children, couples, dogs, cats-everyone who had a life was now dead.
I hear footsteps approaching, echoing in the silent city of Tokyo. They stop in front of me and I watch with my blurry vision. Waiting. I feel his hands on my head, tangling in my hair, pulling so that my eyes are looking upon his face. His eyes are cold, uncaring. A smirk adorns his face and he opens his mouth to speak "You are the prettiest of them all, the best is always saved for last."
I close my eyes; a sickening feeling churns my stomach. I feel him move. Lightening crashes, illuminating his face as he lifts his hand. A tear escapes my eye-I can't help thinking 'I wish he would kiss me... one last time.' And I smile.
