Chapter 1: Good-bye, Grandpa
Ounce upon a time, their were 2 kids named Conrad and Leah. These two wonderful children lived with there handsome grandfather in a beautiful house. Although the kids were wonderful, they were also very curious. They thought that there grandpa was hiding something in the car. There car was a small van and in the front there were a lot of strange dials, buttons, and gizmos about. When the children were 12 (they were twins), there grandpa got sick. It was a Tuesday mourning that the guardian spoke to them.
"Kids?"
"Yes, grandpa?"
"I want you to have this. Use it with care."
And hands the keys of the strange van to Conrad. The next day, there grandpa died. After the funeral a social worker came and said that they were going to a new home tomorrow. "What do we do?" said Leah terrified. "there's only one thing to do." He declared. "Run away in the van."
