Mustang and Edward get sent on a mission alone up in some small town where the people were strangely against the military to capture a man that was going around Amestris collapsing buildings with people inside- mainly military. What happens when Ed disappears the day after they arrive in the village?

Can enemies become friends in matters of life or death? I've pondered this thought for years now, testing just how far I have to push people so they work together. Unfortunately humans are much more vile than I initially expected and they always turn on each other when the others least expect it. I've come to great lengths to see who I could push to do what.
