Eliot Spencer didn't do awkward. He hadn't since he had first learned, as a child, that he could easily gauge how others would react to his natural charm and good looks. He'd learned then that a warm smile and the right words could get him out of any situation, but along the pathway of growing up, Eliot had lost the need for words. He could do so much more, make his meaning so much clearer, with actions.
He still doesn't hesitate to show what is on his mind. He is a man who takes what he wants as soon as he determines what it is. This time, however, achieving his goal has taken a little longer than he likes, but now the team is together again. They won't be breaking up this time or, at least, not any time soon. It's past time he got what he wants.
Eliot waits until the others are gone, leaving him alone with the man whose simplest touch warms his insides that have been so cold for so long now. He turns to him once they are alone, and his eyes bore straight into his. Nate's eyes widen in response, but there is no hesitation in Eliot, not in his deep, brown eyes, his actions, or his touches. There would be no hesitation in his voice, either, but this is yet another time when actions speak far louder and clearer than words ever could.
His walk is smooth as he closes the distance between them. "Eliot," Nate starts, but Eliot doesn't let him finish as he takes him in his arms and crashes his lips down upon his. The next sound leaving Nate's mouth is a happy sigh as he reacts just the way Eliot knew he would and twists his tongue around his.
The End
