He still remembers her. He knows he always will, and it's not just because telling the stories of their childhood together has earned him millions. She's the one who kept him going through all their early troubles. She's the one who taught him what it means to love and live, and the only one he'll ever love.
And yet he lost her to his best friend. He has the millions and the great director career, but Pacey has Joey. Even after all this time, Dawson knows he'd give it all up in a heartbeat to have her love him again.
