Heyo! It be ya boi, weird clone wars fangirl. :3 oof

Anyways, here's something I wrote a few monthes ago so yeeeyyyyyy ENJOY!

I walk in to the living room. Anakin's slumped on the couch, the fireplace running. I shut the door. "Hey, Anakin." I greet him. He doesn't respond. I start taking off my coat, and hang it up. "Anakin?" I call, worried. A few steps closer I can see he's accompanied by bottles of whiskey and wine at his sides. He swallows a glass. I make my way to him as he fills up another. "Hey, hey, hey.." I start, grabbing it from him. He looks at me solemnly. "What is it?" I ask.

"I'd rather not talk about it." He mumbles. He grabs a bottle of wine and starts to pry out the cork.

"Stop it, Anakin!" I scold, taking all the alcohol from his grasp and plopping them on the kitchen counter. "Getting drunk won't solve any problems. Now tell me what's bothering you."

"Snips-

"NOW."

He sighs. "I promise I'll tell you later. I don't want to ruin today for you."

"First off, now I'm worried about you so you've already done that, and what's so important about today?"

He gestures at the boxes of decorations for life day I had managed to gather. He gives a small, tired smile as I turn back with probably the happiest face ever. "Would it be bad if I agreed to let you not tell me?" "Go ahead, Snips."

I grab my datapad off the coffee table and snuggle next to Anakin on the couch. "You probably aren't in the mood to decorate with me, right?" I ask. He shakes his head. "I'm sorry, Ahsoka."

"You should be." I whine dramatically as he puts a weak arm around me. I start a chat with Obi-Wan and Rex.

snips: can I ask you guys a favor?

REXO: yeah, what is it?

snips: Anakin promised to help me with decorating for Life Day, but he's not feeling up to it now

Buzzkill: what happened?

snips: he's sick or something….I don't know. But I want him to rest

Can you guys help?

REXO: sure!

Buzzkill: (knowing I'm going to regret saying this later) sure, Ahsoka

snips: YAAAAAAYY!

Buzzkill: sigh

I look at Anakin, and see that his eyelids are drooping.

I drape a blanket over Anakin, pulling it to his shoulders. He moans and curls up underneath it. "Try to get some sleep." I whisper, leaning down and kissing his cheek. Not even two seconds after I say that he's asleep. I smile weakly and rub his back. "Anakin, Anakin, Anakin…" I sigh.

I hide all the whiskey and wine in my closet just before I heard two knocks at our door. I rush to open it as Rex and Obi-Wan walk in. "Welcome." I smile, allowing them to walk in.

Anakin's snoring softly but it's soon drown out by music. Rex helps haul the boxes while me and Obi-Wan carry in the tree.

ANAKIN'S POV

Ahsoka's warm breath is on my face, and I feel her hands on my shoulder. "Master, you have to wake up for the star!" She whisper screamed. I open my eyes.

"What the hell…?" I murmur.

I'm surrounded completely by decorations. Ahsoka must have decorated every square inch of our walls. Wreaths, garland, lights, small houses, posters, pictures of me and her with Santa hat stickers, loth cat figures in winter coats, paper snowflakes, and in the corner…..I see a giant pine tree with lights, popcorn garland, tinsel, ornaments and candy canes. They're playing some soft Life Day music on her datapad. I eyeroll. "Ahsoka, you've outdone yourself."

She smiles. "We're not exactly done yet."

Rex laughs and I remark, "I've moving out."

My head jerks up when Obi-Wan literally sprints into our living room. "ANAKIN, YOU'RE UP!" He shrieked. He looks as bad as the walls, (complete with reindeer antlers). "Don't you love it?"

"You, liking Life Day…?" I point at him, then turn to my padawan. "I would like the real Obi-Wan back now, please." She laughs.

Rex helps me completely sit up and Ahsoka grabs me some Ibuprofen. "I sensed you had a headache." She explains. "Thanks, Snips." My mind starts to go groggy again.

Some song starts playing that she must like, because Ahsoka runs to the Life Day tree. She grabs a star out of a box. "Master, you can stay there, but watch. This is art."

Obi-Wan and Rex help the short Togruta to reach, and she gracefully tops the tree. They all clap.

"I don't understand." I mumble. But Ahsoka looks so happy that I decide to play along with it.

When it does come time for our guests to leave, Ahsoka calls out to them. "See you guys tomorrow!" After they're gone I ask, "Tomorrow?" She nods giddily. "Gingerbread house. Obi-Wans buying it tonight." I close my eyes and lay down, muttering how she finally managed to break Obi-Wan.

Ahsoka

"...you finally managed to break him, Snips.." Anakin says quietly, and then he's asleep again. I frown. With the help of the Force, I manage to half-drag half-carry him into his bed. "'night, love." I whisper, kissing his forehead right above his scared brow, (even though it's 8045). I leave him to sleep, retuning to the couch and turning on the holonet.

OwOwOwOwOwOwOwOwO

"...as the Chancellor stated in lastnights Senate debate, the clones are property of the Republic, and therefore…"

"Ahsoka?"

I turn to see Anakin standing behind me, his features lit up by red and green lights. "Hey, Anakin. Feeling any better?" He doesn't answer my question. "What the hell happened to our apartment?"

"You don't remember?"

"Nope."

"You were drunk, and me Rex and Obi-Wan decorated for Life Day."

He thinks for a minute, then nods. "I'm so sorry, Snips. I was having a really stressful day…" I pat the space next to me and he sits down. I turn off the stupid kriffing news. "Can you please tell me what happened?"

"I need more time."

"Anakin, is it bad?"

"No, no, no, no, Ahsoka. I'm not in danger or anything."

"Okay. Just promise you'll tell me later?"

"I promise." He opens his arms for me and I scramble into his grasp. He grabs the remote and we go through the channels on the small TV before I give up and put a DVD in. We watch our movie in silence, enjoying each other's company. I was glad I was here for Anakin at the moment instead of the twisted companionship of drinks.

He bends down and kisses my forehead lightly, making my lekku heat up and go deep blue. I'm glad it was dark in the room. I yawn, closing my weary eyes as I drift off to the sound of Anakin's heartbeat….

ANAKIN

"..Anakin…"

I'm drawn out of sleep by the sound of my name. I feel a weight on my side, and find Ahsoka curled up and asleep, leaning on my side. I see her peaceful smile and her hands curling on my chest. My arms hold her protectively. I remember she had fallen asleep during our movie, followed by me. The starting menu plays on the TV.

I slowly pry her off me, laying her on her side.

While preparing to cook, (or burn), some breakfast, Ahsoka wakes up. I know because I hear her stirring, and in a second she's next to me.

She yawns. "Good morning, Anakin." She stretches and throws her arms around my shoulders. I hug her back,

"On no." She starts.

"What?"

She pulls away, but locks her hands behind me and stares into my eyes. I swear my heart skips a beat. "You weren't planning on cooking, were you?"

"...uhh yeah..?"

"Sit down. Last time you made waffles you nearly burnt, and flooded our apartment."

I try to argue but she shoves me into a chair at the table. "Anakin, stay." She laughs.
