A/N: Hello everyone! So here's another Bioshock fanfic for all of you and I decided to write this as soon as I got the idea of a plot for a Fontaine/Tenenbaum fic. The first few chapters would be from the view of Frank Fontaine (although I'll be writing it in third person) but this may change as the story progresses. Also, the title of this fanfic is inspired from the song "Only You". Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you this fanfic!

There he was, lying down on the surgical table the preparations for his operation were going on. He looked up to the flickering lights of this very room where he will take up a new form and a new persona moments from now.
Memories from the past life, make that past lives he is about to leave start to play. He was once a New Yorker who would run after from one opportunity to another, changing himself to another identity in the process.
He was once a vaudeville performer, heck, he even crossed paths with Sander Cohen in the surface once, Sander was only starting his career as a stage production director back then. This was the first time he took up another identity, for the purpose of having a stage name which would eventually grow into him as a main identity.
When the Second World War came, he was offered a job in an ammunitions factory and the fact that he was already losing interest over his current career as a vaudeville performer, he decided to take the job offer despite of threats from his mentor in the vaudeville theater. Along with that was another change of identity for him, to make sure that his mentor never finds him again.
The war ended and he was left jobless until he stroke upon a business deal which gave him a rather decent fortune. This all changed one day when he overheard a conversation about a business deal between a well-known fisheries owner in the city and an oil magnate by the name of Andrew Ryan. Knowing that it will be a better opportunity for him, he decided to do everything to enter himself into the deal, eventually stealing someone's identity to his benefit.
Frank Gorland was no more.
Then, there was Rapture. The city of opportunities as they would say. The city that was built to be better than any other city up in the surface.
Then came him living the dream, having a better life than he had back in New York.
Then came Brigid Tenenbaum, the woman who changed his life. The one who gave his life the 180-degree turn he never had. She was different from all the women he met back in the surface. There was just something with her that kept him by her side.
There was also Jack. The boy he considered to be his own son despite of the fact that he was biologically the son of his worst enemy. It was really meant that way. All for the sake of dethroning Andrew Ryan.
And here he is now, ready than ever to face his new identity. He knows that he is going to leave a lot of things behind, especially the child who means a lot to him and most especially, the woman whom he loved dearly and promised forever to.
