Eternal Freedom.

They didn't care no more, nobody did. Everyone knew that Captain Jack Sparrow's time was up. There was nothing that could be done to prevent it. Even Jack had given up. All he did was lay on the hot sand and pray himself to sleep. Yes, even Captain Jack Sparrow had feelings, he knew what it was like to have your heart stomped on and broken. He's whole life was gone now. The woman he loved, his crew, even his Pearl.

Now he lay on the shore of Port Royal and he was washed up. He's soul was gone, all he did was lay there and look up at the sky remembering the joys he once had when he was free. Those were just long lost memories now.

All the civilians and soldiers walked across that beach every day, but not even the soldiers did anything. They knew he was gone. He was oblivious to the surroundings going on around him and they just didn't care.

"Let him die like that, he's pretty much dead already anyway."

The commodore had said. He knew that Jack Sparrow's spirit was too worn out to cause any trouble anyway. Ever since the day Jack had been washed up on that beach, he hadn't moved.

All Jack wanted was to be with the ones he loved. He prayed to God every night that when he fell asleep, he would never wake up. He needed to be with her again. He prayed for darkness to sweep him away from life. Every night the darkness seemed to come closer, but never enough to take him to his death, he longed for it so much it was painful.

It was once again night, and once again Jack prayed and fell asleep crying out for her. Something different happened this time. The darkness came over him, overwhelming him and he let himself be carried away with the peacefulness death seemed to have. He breathed the blackness into his lungs and he was finally free.

Jack woke up. He was at the wheel of his beloved ship, the Black Pearl. His crew were there, Gibbs, Cotton, Marty. He smiled as warm, slender arms wrapped around his waist.

"Welcome to freedom, Jack." Her soft, sweet voice whispered in his ear. Jack turned around and smiled at his beautiful wife and kissed her tenderly on the lips.

"You're my freedom, Elizabeth darling, savvy?" He smiled.

Jack sailed the Pearl with his wife Elizabeth by his side, and finally he truly had freedom, and he could not have been happier. He was free now, free from life and free for eternity.

The end!
