The Rose Knight

Assassin-G

Prologue

Anybody who'd heard of George de Sand knew he was the epitome of chivalry. At the age of twenty, he was able to achieve greatness that surpassed any France has ever seen. There was never a time when France produced a better Gundam fighter than George de Sand. His name was internationally recognized and the suave knightly demeanor could make any lady swoon. He was definitely at the top of his game at the end of the 13th Gundam Fight.

It would seem that the Rose Knight was unbreakable. His reputation could not be besmirched, seeing as he took part in an endeavor that ultimately saved mankind. After the great battle, the knight proposed to Marie Louise, the Princess of France, and their engagement was announced to the whole world. Their wedding would take place in three month's time, which was more than enough time to enjoy the end of his bachelorhood. Chibodee Crocket would make damn certain that the Frenchman savor every last second before walking down the aisle.

It started out as a friendly invitation. The American pugilist sent a formal letter to the will-be groom requesting for his presence at his mansion in New York. He was hoping to reunite the Shuffle Alliance and throw a huge party in their honor. George was reluctant to accept; his only motive for attending the ruffian's social gathering was to honor his comrade (no matter how barbaric he might be).

Domon, the King of Hearts, was also reluctant to join in the festivities. In his opinion, anything that involved the American Crocket must definitely revolve around obscenities, profanity, and huge amounts of alcohol. However, it was not up to him to decide whether to go or not. Rain, Domon's mechanic and betrothed, made the decision on her fiancé's behalf.

On the other side of the world, the youngest among the Shuffle Alliance was overly elated to see his "bro's" and "sis's" again. The two monks that accompanied the youth were lenient; it was not everyday that the champion of China achieves the Hyper Mode and lives to tell about it. It was obvious that Sai Saici needed time to blow off some steam.

Elsewhere, the stoic Argo Gulski received a Morse code informing him of the get-together. Normally, the behemoth-like Russian would not even consider setting foot on America. From the stories he'd heard from his crew during his pirating days, Argo held in contempt the prurient fascination the whole country of America possesses. However, he, like the King of Hearts, had no say in it. The stern green-haired Russian promised that they would make an appearance, and Argo knew better than to contradict Natasha especially when she has her trusty crop on hand.

And thus the trap was set…
