GUESS WHAT GUYS.

TODAY (June fifth) IS NATIONAL DONUT DAY.

OHHHHHHHH YEAH.

"Hey Sam!" Danny shouted, his pupils wide from excitement.

"Guess what? Guess what guess what guess what?!"

Sam sighed. She had been Danny's best friend since kindergarten. She knew the signs of a sugar rush when they came.

"Yes, Danny?" She asked, already exasperated from the sheer amount of excitement and cheerfulness just rolling off of him. Don't get her wrong, she loved Danny and his cheerfulness. But sometimes enough was enough.

"Today is national donut day!"

Oh no. Not again.

For the past three years, she's avoided this day. Never mentioned it, planned to go around any shops that sold donuts, but somehow, somehow, Danny always remembered. Tucker too, but Danny was always the worst.

Danny on a sugar rush could be deadly.

But the worst part was, this was his first National Donut Day with ghost powers. Who knows what could happen with that?

"Hey Sam? Sammmmm? Sammy? Sam? Guess what? Guess what guess what guess what?" Danny cheered, spinning in place and staring at her wildly with widened baby blue eyes that just looked so beautiful...

Wait. No.

"Not now Sam," she told herself while grabbing Danny in attempt to keep him from breaking something. "No time to dwindle on his beautiful eyes."

Keep his mind off of his ghost powers. Don't remind him of them, and maybe he won't literally go flying through Sam's grip. Then who knows what might happen?

Finally, Danny stopped moving so much and looked her dead in the eye.

"Hey Sam?" He repeated, totally serious, something almost unheard of when he was still on the sugar rush.

"Yes, Danny?" Sam asked, kind of worried for her friend. Something was wrong, right?

And then he kissed her full on the lips.

He tasted faintly of powered donuts.

Finally, he pulled away, staring straight into her eyes before bursting into another grin.

"WOOHOO! I FINALLY DID IT!"

He phased through Sam's grip (Somehow her hands had ended up wrapped around his waist. How did that happen?), and let out a whoop similar to a war cry and jumped through the ceiling, rings of light passing over his body as he did so.

Sam was honestly to shocked to do anything, other then to sit on Danny's bed and feel like her brain was turning to mush and melting like warm butter into her body.

Special thanks to Candy Phantom for telling me of this wonderful day, and for Serulium for convincing me to add the last couple of paragraphs.

NOW, GO OUT THERE AND EAT DONUTS.

I DON'T CARE WHAT DAY IT IS.

(And reviews will also be nice)

Love y'all!
