"Sadie, Sadie!" The young gem fusion exclaimed. The teenager has just opened the store she worked at, the Big Donut, and Steven, the boy who she has became friends with over his repeated visits, has come in yelling her name.
"Steven, you know donuts aren't ready for another hour." She says while she yawns. The boy then whispers something in her ear, taking her by surprise. "Really? Come on!" The pair head inside the store, into the backroom. Steven then puts a tape into the T.V, and both sit down to watch it.
*TV Static*
Waves are crashing on the beach and seagulls are flying around. Steven's dad, Greg, is seen in the background dancing… with Rose, the leader of the Crystal Gems, standing next to him
"What are you two doing?" A voice chuckles in the background.
"Steven, that voice." Sadie remarks. The video then goes to static again for a brief moment, but quickly returns to the video, showing Greg and Rose laying together in the distance. The voice from before begins again,
"Isn't it amazing Steven, the bond those two share. This world, there is so many different people, and possibilities for them to take, but those two chose each other for a reason. They love each other, and nothing… nothing can break a love like theirs apart. We can't wait for you to experience this one day."
The camera then turns around, revealing Garnet, without her shades on.
"Steven, we can't both exist, and we are going to become half of you. We want you to know, that we love you so much, and that you are going to be something extraordinary. Everyone moment you love being yourself, it will be us loving you as well. We love you more than we love ourselves... Take care of them for me, Steven…. We love you." A few tears falls out of her eyes, and the video goes to static.
- Sorry for it being short and poorly written, but this was just an idea that popped into my head recently. What do you guys think? If you enjoy the idea, I'll write more of it =)
