Typed in 30 minutes, but written in 30 hours. XD

I was bored, yes, and I had an idea. So from one in the morning to 4, and a few hours in the evening, this was born!

I will make more stories like this, and they will all be related to Erika, explaining certain things that were left rather unexplainable.

Warnings: None. I will say there are hints of couples, but I'm not sure how many. Shizaya is certainty one of them though.

Disclaimer: I do not own Durarara!.

She had her reasons.

She wasn't just born loving manga. That was changed by reasons.

She didn't always know the blonde haired boy that stood in the fire when she started one. He was brought by fate.

She was curious, but afraid. Causing pain to people use to be useless. Torture turned to a simple game, just by coincidence.

Everything was connected in her world, and why we don't know the reasons is simply because she hasn't told them yet.

And that shall change by reasons.

-Reasons-

A little girl was walking down the street one day.

She wasn't alone- no, no- she was just the age of 7, and her parents were taking a walk with her.

She had black hair tied into twin buns, with the hair on both sides of her face being left alone. She wore a black play dress with a white bow tied around her waist.

She was a curious little girl, who loved to see what was going on in her neighborhood.

Every house she'd see during the walks she'd take had at least one window to look through. Every window had a new story to tell. That was great, but that meant there was always a more interesting window out there.

She looked at the house numbers, too. She had heard rumors about house number 34, but she didn't care, even if that strong guy really did live there. She'd look through the window anyway.

Normally, she saw nothing.

Normally, she didn't care.

But today, something caught her eye...

She looked through the window to see the blonde haired man everyone said was so strong kissing a black haired man.

She stopped. Wait, what?

A boy, and a boy? She'd never heard that one before.

A man with glasses called from outside, and she saw the two boys rush to the scene, one grinning, and the other looking quite mad.

Strange.

Her parents told her to come, but instead, she ran over to the men. She was afraid of the blonde one, so she talked to the other.

"Hey, you!" She said. The brown-haired male turned.

"Yes?"

"Well, umm... What were you doing in that room up there?" It surprised the man when she asked.

"Why do you want to know?"

"I saw it," she pointed to the open window, "you really should shut that thing."

The man smiled, "well," he whispered something in her ear, "now, you gotta keep it a secret, 'kay?" The little girl nodded.

He ruffled her hair, "good, anything else?"

"What's that?" She pointed to the book in his hand.

"This? Oh, it's just some old manga- you can have it," he gave the book to her and left.

"Wait-," he was gone. She looked down at the book, "manga?"

"Come on, Erika," her mom called.

"Coming!" She ran trying to catch up to them.

As they walked, Erika studied the book. The front was the back, but that's all she knew.

She wasn't very good at reading, but she looked at the cover and tried to read the title.

"Na...ru-.t-to...?" Confusion filled her, "Naruto?" Hmm, she'd have to look more in to this.

She opened the book and started to read.

-End Of The Beginning-
