"Hey Kim,"
"Yeah," answered a petite Japanese girl through mouthfuls of soft drink
"Who do you like?" asked a curious Brazilian boy
As soon as she heard this her drink rolled out of her hand and smashed on to the floor
"W-w-w-w-why w-w-would you w-w-want to know t-that?" She asked shakily a look of surprise and horror in her eyes
"I don't know I'm just curious?" He said advancing towards the nervous Japanese girl
"Ahh…. I got to go," She said racing out the door as fast as Omi running from a squirrel
The Brazilian boy stood there dumbfounded by what just happened
"What just happened?" He said to no one in particular
"I reckon you asked her the wrong question partner," A Texan accent answered
"Huh?"
"Well you should've asked if she liked you,"
"Why?"
"I think you may have gotten the answer you were looking for,"
As Clay left Raimundo finally understood what he was trying to say all along
"I gotta find Kim," He said racing out the door
Outside the temple/in the garden
He ran outside to find Kimiko sitting next to the fountain running her hand through the surface of the water
"Hey Kim,"
Her head jerked up suddenly and a light blush crept onto her face
"I was wondering….,"
"Yes," She asked coming up to him almost face to face now
"Do you like me? As in more than a friend" He asked scratching the back of his head nervously
"Of course I do I was wondering how long it would take you realize," She said smiling as she grabbed his hand. For a while they walked hand in hand staring into each others eyes until they hit something hard and toppled over into a soft bed of water.
"I am soaked," She screamed playfully
"Ditto!" He said through a fit of laughter. Suddenly they realized how close they were and leaned into a warm loving kiss.
Clay watched from afar as the new couple shared their first kiss together he had done well he would now have his work cut out for him now he would have to deal with their relationship quarrels. He smiled as he caught a glimpse of the new couple soaking wet sitting in the fountain laughing their heads off he had never seen them both so happy and seeing them happy made him happy. He walked off down the hall to try and find Omi and teach him some proper slang then he would of achieved two of his goals in life.
Sorry a bit random but I had this idea today when my crush asked me who I liked Awkward! Good thing I can lie! but now I'm starting to think I should've told him ohh well there are plenty of fish in the sea!
