Summary: Shepard gets hurt on a mission, Kaidan freaks out.
AN: The title and cover picture of this has absolutely nothing to do with the story, but I couldn't think of anything better so… Meh. I haven't played 'Mass Effect' in ages, but I was in the mood to write something for my favourite couple in the games. Short Shenko oneshot ahoy!

"Where is he?"
Kaidan barked at the nervous looking nurse, who was unfortunate enough to be the one that was getting the full brunt of Major Alenko's worried wrath. She quickly tapped at the pad in front of her, fingers shaking slightly, before pointing down the hall
"Down there, third door to the left."
He grunted a thanks before trudging off down the corridor, throwing the door open and nearly hitting the unfortunate Doctor in the face. His eyes fell on Shepard, not even bothering to apologise to the shocked Doctor as he marched over to the Commander
"What the hell were you thinking Shepard? You could have gotten yourself killed?!"
Shepard chuckled, wincing as he disturbed the freshly bandaged wound on his shoulder
"I'm pleased to see you too Kaidan."
Kaidan placed his hands on either side of Shepard's face, pulling him into an enthusiastic kiss and trying to convey exactly how much he had worried him. Shepard reciprocated, hands clasping Kaidan's shoulders none too gently as he did so. They split apart for air, foreheads resting gently against each other
"Never do that to me again Shep. I thought you were dead."
"It just grazed me Kaidan, nothing crucial got hit."
"I didn't know that at the time. I just saw you go down and…"
Shepard kissed him again, and Kaidan melted like warm butter into Shepard's arms
"Just promise you won't make stupid decisions without telling me first."
He said when they separated again. Shepard just smiled
"I promise."
AN: God the ending made me cringe and realise how sappy it turned out. Anyway, please review 'cause reviews make me happy.
