Wendy's POV

I was in the file trying, but miserably failing to find a file Catherine wanted.

"Dammit." I hissed going to the next row of files.

"Need help?" I jumped to the voice and it started laughing. I turned to see Hodges.

"What the hell are you laughing about." I angrily asked.

"Nothing." He laughed once more then spoke up again, "Do you need help."

"No. I'm good." I bent down to look at the bottom files. I heard him laugh again, but I think I knew the reason why this time. I stood back up and pointed to the door.

"Out!" I shouted."Come on, I know you need help. Just admit it." He was smirking.

"I don't have to admit anything because there is nothing to admit." I walked around the corner to the next long isle of files.

"Well, there is so I'm helping." He began to look, I just sighed and kept looking. He came over and looked beside me. I got a butterfly feeling in my stomach when his hand touched mine.

"Sorry." I mumbled and went to the other end of the isle.

"Wait," he pulled back, "I don't even know what I'm looking for. Mind on informing me?"

"Nope." I simply said and continued looking.

He walked over to me, turned me around and looked deep into my eyes. Wow... I never knew how beautiful his eyes were. Wait! Did I really just say that. No his eyes are NOT beautiful... There gorgeous. No there NOT. Wendy pull yourself together, you do not have feelings for David, not even close. The only feelings you have for him are the feelings of hatred and disgust.

"Landon Timothy." It slipped out, I didn't intend on telling him. He just smirked and walked back to where he was standing.

Ugh! Now that I told him he's never gonna leave.

"Found it." He pulled the file out and walked back up and handed it to me.

"What the hell! I looked over there and didn't see it." I ripped the file out of his hand and headed to the door. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. I pushed the door with all my might and nothing happened. I looked out the door window to see a chair under the door knob.

"DAVID!" I shouted turning back to him.

"Did you do this." I pointed to the chair, or of what I could see of the chair.

"Yes and no. I planed it, but Nick is the one who did it." I never knew Nick had it in him to do something like that. Well, maybe a little but that's not the point.

"So your saying you locked, no, trapped me in here with YOU!" Hodges of all people I had to get stuck in a room with Hodges. I went over and hit in upside the head.

"Oww." He rubbed his head.

"I really need to get his to Catherine." I wined.

"Can't Catherine wait." He whispered in my ear. I shivered a little to his warm breathe meeting my skin.

"N-no she c-can't." I said moving away from him.

"Please." Once again he came closer to me pinning me up against the wall of the room.

"No David." I went under his arms and went to the other side of the room.

I heard the door open. I ran to the door it was Sara, "My savior." I said hugging her.

"Why was there a chair..." She trailed off. I shrugged.

"Ask him." I said pointing to Hodges and walking out the door with the file and went to find Catherine. Once I get this file to Catherine Hodges is so dead!

Hodges POV

DAMMIT! I was so fuckin close.

After Wendy left Sara was confused and shocked at the door way, "Why were you and Wendy..." Once again she trailed off.

"I'll explain later." I walked past her and ran in to Nick who was standing in the hall.

"I was so close." I walk over to him showing him with my fingers how close I was.

"Yeah, but she seemed pretty pissed when she walked out. But better luck next time dude." He patted me on the back and walked away.

I just stood there thinking. If Wendy wants to play that game, it will be played and I will surly win.

Game on Wendy, game on.
