A few hours before

It was hard being a princess . People expected you to be all girly and pretty but If you're nerdy and don't really care what your hair looks like in the morning , you were frowned upon. But I don't complain because I have my sister with me – Piper- She wouldn't let me look like I was a mere commoner. Mother dear wanted me to go to this stupid ball the other day and I wouldn't agree. She asked Father to force me to go and I can't refuse anything my father says , I love him far too much. I decided I would go but ofcourse I needed Piper's help. I made my way to her room but before I could knock I heard her crying. I remembered that when we were small Piper and I used to have this special song we sang to each other before we entered our rooms. We had stopped doing that over the years. But then it isn't too late to start it again.

Piper's P.O.V

Anna is trying SO hard to make me sing our song again but I just can't. The world has fallen apart for me. I can't face my sister , Atleast that is what I used to think she was. Annabeth was my everything apart from looks and princes she was the only thing I was truly grateful for. She was more of a best friend rather than a sister. She wasn't that younger to me. But ofcourse everything changed today. I was going to go to mother and father's room to get something when I heard noises coming And so I did what a princess should never do – I listened to their conversation by eavesdropping- They were talking about some Commoner who had declared that the king and queen had taken her daughter when she was a year old. At first I thought they were talking about me..But soon my mother mentioned Anna's name.

Gods Of Olympus ..Anna wasn't my own sister after all. I had always suspected that she wasn't my real sister. She was too different in looks from the rest of us. With her blonde hair and grey eyes she didn't pass off as my sister. I had brown choppy hair and eyes that changed colours at different angles. The only similarity was in our colour. Both of us were dark.

Annabeth's P.O.V

Piper told me about what she heard. She made me swear I wouldn't tell anyone. Piper thinks I was sad maybe even shocked and let me be alone for a while. But to be honest I never thought I was a part of this family anyway. With all their beauty and charisma they made me feel like I was unnatural. I'm relieved to know I'm not a part of this family. But ofcourse Piper will always stay my sister because even though our Blood isn't the same we still are sisters. But I still had to find my real family. I needed to clear my thoughts. I looked out of the window and saw that it was snowing, I grabbed my winter coat and boots to go to my favorite place-Athena Mountains-It was so peaceful and wise.
