Modern day setting Normal high school kids and Natsu with way too much energy.
Natsu Dragneel track and field star could run and throw And jump flatter longer and faster than everyone. He was the trump card for his high school. New be's were never told about him but seasoned members feared him.
The reason behind his success? He honestly could not sit still to save his life. In class he would walk around and take mental notes no one would tell him to sit down because he had a doctors note for it.
When asked how many cups of coffee he drinks every morning his friends get rid of the person telling them Natsu doesn't even know what coffee is and they would like to keep it that way.
On the last day of school natsu's best friend gray Fullbuster wanted to rest something so he bought energy drinks off every kind.
He texted Natsu and there group of friends to go to the track and to bring video cameras and a phone with 9-1-1 on speed dial just in case.
They lived in a small town and soon word got out that gray was planning to give Natsu energy drinks.
A medical team was sent to watch him just in case. The fire and poultice department showed up as well as most of the town to watch something so big it may be hilarious. Everyone brought video cameras to witness such a thing.
"Natsu ready?" Gray asked him as he held a bottle of a mixture of well every energy drink he could get his hands on legally.
Red bull, five hour energy, monster, everything. It was a small cup a quarter of an ounce if each but it was still thought to be too much for Natsu so the mixture was cut in half again so now instead of half a cup it was quarter is a cup.
"Gray I was born ready come on give it over!" Natsu said jumping up and down since he had to move some how.
"Alright. But remember if something goes wrong there's a medic team just in case." Gray said in statistic concern.
"Just make sure the camera is rolling the whole time." Natsu said running around gray.
"Fine here. Just don't go to the moon. The towns around us are on red alert for you just in case." Gray said.
"Gray the closest town is a hundred miles away we are in the middle of no where." Natsu said matter of factly.
"I know." Gray said and gave the cup to Natsu. Erza sent up the warning flare for everyone that it has happened.
Natsu for once in his life stopped moving as he drank the cup of pure energy.
He throw the cup and bolted. If they hadn't been on the track Natsu would have been gone but they wrapped the area with chain mail so Natsu couldn't leave easily.
The moment Natsu took off three things turned on a stopwatch 400 cameras and a red an alert for the town.
By the figh minute mark Natsu had run 2 miles and was not yet winded. He kept running though all video cameras in him.
Natsu then got bored with the running and started jumping and pole vaulting. He got heights and distances that had it not been on video most would not Believe he had done it.
Soon getting bored with that as well he went to the throwing rings and his shortest distance was 60 feet at the shot put and almost 300 feet at javil.
After two hours of him just going at it he finally began to slow down and went to gray.
"Gray you got to give me more of that stuff!" He asked really quickly and all at the same time the crowd shouted.
"No way in hell!" There was no way they were going to give Natsu more of that stuff unless absolutely necessary.
