Chapter 1
'Pippin! Wake up!'
Pippin opened his eyes slowly. Frodo was shaking him awake. Pippin jumped back.
'You scared me!'
'Sorry. But look at this I have found!'
Frodo pointed towards a large tree that was opposite where they had been sleeping. There was a blue light shining out from the trunk.
'What's that?' Pippin asked rather scared.
'I don't know,' Frodo looked suspiciously at the light, 'I've never seen it before.'
Pippin stood up and pulled a twig out of his hair. He picked up Gimlis axe (he was asleep) and walked towards the light. He poked the axe into it.
'Pippin! NO! You foolish and inquisitive Took!' Frodo shouted, 'you must blame your cousin; he learnt you all these tricks!'
Frodo ran to Pippin but not in time. He had disappeared into the light, but the axe was lying on the floor. Frodo ran to the tree and dived into the blue light after him.
'Pippin? Pippin where are you?'
Frodo looked around. He had landed on bright green grass and around him were trees and bushes.
'Pippin?'
'Frodo?' Pippin poked his head around from a bush, 'I am here!'
Frodo looked at Pippin and walked towards him. He was sat on a table drinking tea.
'Pippin, what in the name of mushrooms is you doing?'
'Having a spot of tea with Grimbler. Care to join us?'
Grimbler was a strange creature and Frodo hadn't recognised him until Pippin had said.
'We must go,' Frodo said to Grimbler and Pippin.
Frodo took Pippin's arm and dragged him away.
'Do you know that person?'
'No, but he seemed quite friendly.'
'We don't even know where we are! Now, have you got any ideas how to get us back to the forest?'
'No, I'm sorry.'
Frodo looked back at the tree. The light had gone. Frodo decided that the only way of getting back was to probably ask Grimbler where to go.
'Come on Pippin.'
**** Sorry if it's a bit boring. I don't expect any reviews put it that way.
