*Author's Note* This is just a super short Oneshot I came up with. This is my version of that scene after the credits where Kratos leaves. I used actual dialogue from the game, and added onto it. I don't own the characters or the game. Also, this is NOT yaoi or incest. *Minor Spoilers*
"Are you really going to Derris-Kharlan?" Lloyd asked Kratos, as they stood where the Tower of Salvation once stood.
"If a half-elf of Cruxis remains here, the other half-elves will have no place to live," Kratos replied. "As a surviving member of Cruxis, I must bear the responsibility for what has happened." he finished solemnly.
"I'm going to collect all the exspheres remaining in this land." Lloyd said. He was determined to destroy them all, so no one would ever suffer the way his mother, Marble, Alicia and many others did, and the people who were hurt by their deaths.
"And I will discard all of the Cruxis' Exspheres in to space. I've dragged you into this until the very end... Kratos said guiltily.
"It's okay!" Lloyd said cheerfully, in an attempt to cheer his father up a little.
"It's time for me to go. Please use that sword to send us to Derris-Kharlan…" Kratos requested.
Suddenly, Lloyd's cheerfulness faded. "Ok, good…bye…Dad…" Lloyd hesitated to say. They both looked sadly at each other, knowing that they probably would never see each other again.
Lloyd hesitantly got ready to send his father away, when he stopped and said. "There's one last thing I need to do first." Lloyd said. "Of course, Kratos replied.
Lloyd walked toward his father, and held his hand out to him, which Kratos took, and they shook hands. In the middle of it all, Kratos spoke up.
"There's something I also wish to do first, if you don't mind." he said. "Sure." said Lloyd, knowing full well what he was going to do.
Kratos pulled Lloyd gently toward himself, and hugged him. They stood there for a while, as they both tried to be as emotionless as possible.
"Just one last time, and to make up for those long fourteen years." Kratos thought. "I'm glad you did that." Lloyd thought. They both knew saying these words out loud would only make it harder.
"Train hard and grow stronger, Lloyd." Kratos said, still holding Lloyd. "Okay." That was all Lloyd could say, as to not choke on his final words with his father.
They finally let go of each other, and Lloyd sent him off to Derris-Kharlan.
As Kratos was sent off, they both watched each other fade away. "…Don't die before I do, Lloyd…my son." Kratos thought, just as Lloyd finally faded from his view.
Back on land, as Kratos faded from Lloyd's view, he sniffled, and turned to leave. A single tear rolled down his cheek. "Sometimes tears are the best medicine!" Lloyd said with a smile, as he quoted Colette. "I hope Kratos knows that too." He thought.
Thank's for reading! I know, it was really short. I know the little Colette quote is from Dawn of the New World, but whatever. Reviews are always nice! (IF they say nice things.) :3
