So that new DLC, eh? That was… that was something.

I do not own Bloodborne.

The Hunter was staring at her. As soon she had finished telling him of the passing strange feeling of being unshackled he had frozen. Then he had stiffly sat down before her and had been staring at her ever since.

The Plain Doll shifted in discomfort an act that caused him to watch her even more intensely. Was this perhaps what it meant to be unnerved?

She was unsure. After all, she was just a doll.

For some reason the Hunter began glaring then and stood up. As he walked closer she noted the tenseness in his gait and wondered if he had perhaps succumbed to the beast blood. If so, she hoped her death would be a quick one.

He pointed towards her and she tilted her head in confusion.

Then he spoke.

"Doll…" he stated, almost forcing the words out. As shocked as she was to hear him speak she was even more so by what he said next. "Not…Maria."

Her eyes widened. Her chest felt tight, someplace deep within radiating a curious warmth at his words.

"Doll," he said again, his tone almost daring her or anyone else to argue. "Not Maria."

She blinked, a curious wetness filling her eyes, and nodded.

"I understand, good hunter."

He nodded and, hesitantly, offered up his Blood Echoes.

And Doll went about reinforcing her Hunter.

But still the warmth lingered.
