What about her ?
Pain… Intense pain… In that moment, il was all she could feel. She couldn't move a single millimeter without fearing the poisoning numbness of the sedative she was receiving. She couldn't stop asking herself why it was her in that small cell with no contact with the outside world. The answer was simple. They were afraid of her. And by « they », she meant the human beings who think of themselves as kings of this cruel world. There wasn't any kindness in her head when she was thinking about those who chained her and restrained her to simply be a monstruous beast in their eyes. She couldn't use her powers, nor feel the comforting red lights on her skin. She couldn't know if she was alone in this prison directly coming from Hell and it wasn't helping her at all. Where were her teammates? Her friends? Did they succeed their mission or were they caught like her in this place of despair? She felt like she would never know the answers to those questions. In a single part of her soul, where the darkness failed to enter, there was a light of hope not shinning as bright as it once was. Wasn't it enough for her to loose her brother, the other part of herself? Wasn't it enough to see everything she once knew being destroyed? Couldn't they see there was enough pain? She wanted to cry and scream, but all she could do was staying on the floor curled up in a ball and staring at the wall in front of her. She heard a door open, but didn't turn toward the disturbance of this silence of death. She then faintly felt two strong arms picking her up and for a moment, she thought that the eyes she saw were of an electric blue and as she fell unconscious, she quietly whispered the name of her brother before being taken by the darkness around her. And there was only pain…
