"Scared Snivellus?" James asked Severus Snape as he and Sirius erupted in laughter. Severus was hanging from a lamppost nearly twenty feet off the ground.
"I believe his shrieks gave him away," chuckled Sirius as he whipped his wand around, casting a spell that forced Severus' hair to grow tremendously and it began to tickle him. It was the terrified laughter coming from Severus that seemed to encouraged the boys as their laughter became uncontrollable.
"That is enough James, and you too Sirius! Severus has done nothing to you!" exclaimed Lily as she, after muttering a few words, released Severus from the lamppost and returned him to the ground. "You should be ashamed of yourselves."
"Now now Lily, we were just entertaining ourselves. You must admit, it was pretty humorous," Sirius added, taking pride in his humiliation of Severus. Of course this was daily, but having a crowd made it all the more satisfying.
Severus, turned, glared murderously at Sirius and James and stomped away. His cloak torn and ripped, glided along the ground in his wake.
"You disgust me," scolded Lily as she too, promptly turned and trotted away, followed by her friends.
"They will come around eventually," explained James, having trouble preventing anymore laughter. "We just need to show Lily how fun this can be, don't we Sirius?"
"I think not," added Remus Lupin, who had approached unbeknownst to the two boys. "What you are doing is foolish. I am your friend, but you know I disapprove of this behaviour. I would approve that this stops before something serious happens."
"You're no fun Remus. What harm could it do?" questioned Sirius.
"A massive amount of emotional damage to all those you torment, especially Severus. Is that enough or shall I tell more," Lupin eyed Sirius and James, concerned about their future's, and all whose future's they will affect.
"No Remus, that is quite alright," James said as he began walking towards the front gate of Hogwarts, exhausted from the days effort. Sirius and Remus trailed behind him, discussing the new Divination teacher.
