"Charlie." "Yes Lucy?" "Can I borrow your eyes for a moment? Tell me….what's it like..."
"Of course, hold my hand and listen closely…Do you hear that?, it's Mr. Wonka's waterfall, it churns chocolate until it is as light as air and frolic as lace, its beautiful, rich, brown and delicious, here have a sip. It flows like water into a sugary river dividing valleys of minty green grass in two with patches of sweets all over on both sides. Do you smell it?, Candy apples hang from licorice vines that wind down to the chocolates edge, scrumptious and bright red, they glow like embers in a fireplace next to bushes of Turkish delight and bonbons powdered in feathered sugar, taste one. There's fields of lollipops in every color you can imagine, like a rainbow on the ground you can eat. Happy yellows like cloudless Sulphur's, tangy oranges like ginger, fiery reds like living coals, sad blues like tears, crazed purples like burning debris and plush pinks like that of kitten's nose, here a bouquet of them for you. There's pillows of marshmallows to lye or sit on, dainty as clouds, feel them. The air is full of warmth and honey, so thick it hangs from the tongue when you speak, have a taste, a bite or two if you wish…did you enjoy that Lucy?, what did you think."
