Rikku was travelling across the Calm Lands with Yuna ((Since they're always together)). Paine had been missing since morning, and the only clue they had as to where Paine was, pointed them straight to the Calm Lands. Rikku sighed as her shoulders sagged. She was getting tired of this game of Hide-n-Seek. Why couldn't they just leave Paine alone?
Yuna sat on a hill of the calm lands.. It was so.. Calm.. her hair moved in the breeze.
Just then she heard some thing squeak! A young looking Chocobo stood right behind her.
Yuna stood up against the Chocobo. (in battle mode)The Chocobo was scared and quickly ran away.
Yuna and Rikku saw that it ran to a near by cave where HE used to train two years ago...
"Aww...Birdy go bye-bye!" Rikku whined, pouting a little. She put her hands on her hips and stared after the retreating overgrown yellow chicken. She turned to Yuna after a moment, "Shall we look for Paine, then?"
"Whats that Chocobo doing there?" Yuna asked, pointing one of her guns at it.
Just then Clasko came out of the cave... what a curious place for a wimp like that!
"Look! Clasko!" Rikku yelled, pointing excitedly at the little chocobo-loving wimp clad in green. "Heeey! Clasko!" She yelled, waving her arms over her head.
"LADY YUNA!!! What a surprise..." He said
Rikku hurried over to Clasko, and then pouted when he only greeted Yuna. She jabbed her finger at Clasko accusingly, "I'm here too, you know?"
"Rikku as well... Where is Paine?" The gullwings always travel in a flock of three or more. So.. where was the third?
Rikku grinned, although she was upset that there was a pause before Clasko greeted her. She shrugged, answering to the Paine question. "She went hide-n-seek!"
"Hide and seek? That doesn't sound like her!" Clasko questioned...
Rikku nodded sagely, "I know. But we woke up this morning, and found her missing, and the only clue we had was when Shinra said in his all-knowing voice, "She's in the Calm Lands", and when we asked him how he knew that, he replied, "I'm just a kid," Oooh that Shinra makes me so mad!" RIkku said, ended with a pout, and didn't even need to take a deep breath.
Clasko laughed... He knew very well of the Shinra kid... everyone did...
Rikku nodded again, still hyper, as if she ate a lifetime's supply of candy the night before. "So anyway," she started blabbing again, "I was wondering if you could help me find Paine! Since Yuna ran off somewhere..." Rikku had just realized that her cousin wasn't by her.
"Well, I... um..." Clasko simply stammered. He really was to afraid to leave his cave, with fear of getting killed by some random fiends. "Oh... okay..." But what was he supposed to do? How could he deny a face like that...
Rikku grinned happily. "Thank you!" She chirped, "I knew you would help! Now, get me a chocobo!" The last sentence wasn't a request; it was more like an order.
Indeed no-one should mess with the almighty Rikku, however, once Paine came on the scene, it would be a totally different matter. Rikku grinned at the chocobo and patted it on the head happily. She climbed on it and settled down, crooning to her new bird-friend, "Aww, who's a pretty lady???" And for a moment, Clasko and the search for Paine was forgotten.
