Hello everyone! :D I just want to let you know I'M NOT dead! I have NOT given up on my stories, I only had Microsoft word for a short time last year and I FINALLY got it! :D
And…I'm only posting a one-shot cause I don't see a lot of them about these two shipped together. Enjoy!
Yuya groaned faintly in sleep, it was happening again…once more he was remembering the fateful night where Yuto took the hit for him.
They hardly knew each other and Yuto risked his life for him…ever since Yuya woke up from having his soul fused with his Xyz counterpart the Dueltainer blamed himself, he should've snapped him AND Yugo out of it! Then maybe Yuto would still be here…fighting next to his best friend Shay, and still looking for Shay's little sister LuLu.
What the young boy didn't know was that a figure was forming next to his bed as he was sleeping, only it wasn't just any figure…it was Yuto. The Phantom Knight Duelist gasped softly in pain before looking around, it worked! He may not be in this world living and breathing…but if he can still come back a few times as Spirit to help then that was good enough for him.
Yuto sighed faintly in relief before looking at Yuya worriedly who was now crying in his sleep. Yuto felt his chest tighten….he didn't know Yuya that well but he had a pretty good idea on what he was having a nightmare about.
He gently got down on one knew before softly got down one knee and gently stroked his hair with one hand before wiping the tears away with his free one. Yuya blushed in his sleep before smiling faintly, he pulled the covers a bit closer to him but other than that he seemed to be okay now.
Yuto couldn't help but smile a little too before lightly kissing his forehead and whispering softly to him,"I'll never leave you Yuya…I promise, I may not be whole but….I'm glad I'm apart of you. That why I know I can come back, and when I do you'll be the first one I thank." And with that he disappeared leaving a smiling tomato haired duelist smiling even more in his sleep.
"…and I'll have….Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon in my hands for you….Yuto…" Yuya whispered faintly in his sleep before yawning as he fell asleep this time dreaming of his friends…and Yuto.

"Yuya, wait up!" said boy skidded to a halt and waited for his old friend Zuzu to catch up to him, he'd been so excited he forgot all about her! Yuya smiled sheepishly as she finally managed to catch up to him. "Sorry about that…guess I'm just a bit excited." He said making her eyes widen. "About school?" Zuzu asked him.
Since when was he interested in text books and problems such as 2x+3x?! "No…just…well everything really." Yuya stated before looking up at the sky smiling warmly, yes Yuto is gone but one day…he'll be able to see him again it could be tomorrow, next week, next month…who knows really.
But until then Yuya can live with that knowledge. For now, he's just going to keep doing what Yuto asked him do bring smiles to everyone with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon.
