Bubblegum
The first time Superman met his Martian colleague's niece, she had just discovered a pink and elastic Earth treat. M'gann M'orzz was chewing the bubblegum with earnest delight, trying to blow bubbles. But M'gann wasn't just chewing one piece of gum; she had three different kinds in her mouth at once.
Currently, M'gann was trying to blow a rather large bubble. It already looked to be about three inches around. The man of steel stared in wonder as the young Martian inhaled through her nose and expanded the bubble with each breath. The bubble grew tremendously in just the span of half a minute.
Clark looked over to J'onn, an eyebrow cocked slightly in curiosity. The elder Martian simply gave a small shrug as he too was watching his niece's efforts with great interest. M'gann had gotten the bubble to seventeen inches and the wall was thinning considerably. She took in a large breath through her nose and let it out slowly through her mouth, inching the bubble out more. She couldn't see past the bubble so she didn't notice her uncle and his colleague taking a few steps back from the bubble. Her entire concentration was blowing a massive bubble. It took another minute before it reached twenty-three inches. She could see through it now and gave it another puff of air before it popped.
The bubble didn't tear and deflate like most large bubbles do, this one burst and fanned out over the small area she was standing in. Unfortunately for the Man of Steel, he was three inches closer to the bubble than the Manhunter was. He was so entranced by the size of the bubble that he wasn't able to get out of the way and got a wad of gum in his hair. M'gann got the worst of it, though. The gum not only attached itself to her hair, but to her outfit and face as well. It took days of peanut butter shampooing for Superman to get the gum out of his hair and to this day, he physically can't stand within five feet of the Martian girl.
