Torbentie's POV
"Leave me alone!" I screamed at the soldiers chasing me just for being an off color.
My arm was covered in a big bruise when one of them punched me.
I hated this! It annoyed how gems shattered other gems just for being off colors. It's disgusting.
I turned to see that the soldiers had suddenly stopped. They were checking a message on their tech pads.
I turned to see them walking off for some reason? Was it a trick?
At this point, it was hard to tell. I wondered if everyone on homeworld had gotten that message but most importantly,
I wonder what it said.
Main Story's POV
Torbentie came out of her hiding place to see she was right.
Everyone in homeworld had gotten the message. Some gems looked Happy while others look Angry or Confused.
A soldier saw Torbentie's confusion and walked over.
"Are you okay?" The soldier asked. She was a Cat's Eye and her gem was on her eye.
"Im just confused. What's going on?" Torbentie asked.
"Haven't you heard?" Cat's Eye began. "The Diamonds have gone to peace with the Crystal Gems and now they're accepting off colors and other gems." Cat's Eye explained.
"Thanks for telling me." Torbentie smiled.
"No problem." Said the Cat's Eye before returning back to her post.
Torbentie looked up at Homeworld's sky. She didn't know what to do now. She wasn't being chased by soldiers anymore but what role could she take? She wasn't exactly the best soldier or technician.
For now, the least she could do was just relax and enjoy this new life. She was finally free.
However, on the other side of Homeworld. Things were a bit different for one Pearl.
