It all started like this...

Dick was running down the street, as drizzle down poured onto him. "Crap, crap crap!" He muttered as he knew of his own storm brewing. His own special storm, and he was on tornado watch, cause it was a doozie. He held a heart box of chocolates in one hand and was scrambling for his keys in the other. After opening the door he could feel it, he was doomed. He saw the love of his life sitting in her wheelchair, looking furious. "Our date was supposed to be an hour and a half ago Grayson! How could you be late again? It's our anniversary.." Barbara said. Dick looked down, knowing it was his fault, he didn't have to go to work today, but he did. " I know Barb, I know. I'm sorry I was late I really am," he handed her the chocolates," I hope you can forgive me." Barbara lifted her eyebrow, surprised at his apology,"You think this takes you out of the dog house, former boy wonder?" Dick chuckled a little and started into her blue eyes."Actually Babs, I had something else in mind." She cocked her head, a little confused." Really now, and what could you have in mind, Pixie Boots?" Dick simply grinned, then bent down on his left knee, and pulled out a black box, and opened it"Barbara Gordon, you are the love of my life. Everything I have is yours, I give you my heart and soul. All I can ask of you is one question. Will you marry me?" He looked up at her, hopefully. Barbara covered her mouth with her hands, tears now streaming down her eyes. "Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" She tried getting out of her wheelchair, to which he gently helped her. Then the two embraced in a hug, and let the night take them away.
