Martin Tyler Brewer, walked around the town that had been his home for almost 4 years. The town brought back memories, some good and some painful. So many things had happened to him in the 3 years he lived in Arizona. His father had died by a drunk driver a year before, and he was still mourning. Martin was on summer break from the University Of Arizona. He would be a senior the in the coming year. A phone call from a old friend brought him back to this town.

Flashback

Martin Brewer entered his dorm just as his cell phone rang. He glanced down at the number and was aghast at what he saw. "Ruthie Camden."

"Hello?" Martin said into his blue razor.

"Martin, it is Ruthie Camden." The farmilar voice, of his old best friend said.

"Hey Ruthie! How have you been? I have not talked to you since in a long time."

"I know, it has been to long. Way to long. I have been good. I graduate tomorrow..."

"Yes. Way to long. Congratulations Ruth Ruth! Do you know what college you are going to?"

"I got a scolarship to Harvard, journalism."

"Wow, I always pictured you as a teacher for some reason." Martin said realxing on the bed.

"I know, me too..but I wrote for the school paper the past two years and my teacher thought I would be great at it, and most importantly I love it."

"That is great. I am really proud of you. How is the rest of your family doing?"

"Well, mom and dad are the same, Matt and Sarah have three kids. Mary and Carlos divorced again..and have three kids. Lucy and Kevin have 4 kids, and she is pregnant with their 5th,6th,and 7th." Ruthie stoped so Martin could take it all in.

"Woha! So they have Savannah, the twin boys..and then 4 more?" Martin asks still in shock.

"Yes, the twin names are Jack and Tyler. Then there is Elizabeth and now Luce is pregnant with triplets, 2 girls and one boy. Simon and Sandy...got married and she is pregnant and then they have Aaron of course."

"Oh, well if you tell Sandy tell her congratulations and give Aaron a hug for me." Sandy first thought they baby was Martins, but a faternity test proved it to be Ruthie's brother Simons baby.

"Alright I will, the reason I called was we are having a retirement party for my dad and you are invited."

"I would love to come, I was actulay thinking of coming back this summer to see everyone again."

"That would be great Martin, we all miss you very much."

"I miss you all too. When is the party?"Martin asks getting out his PDA.

"Umm..July 5th.."

"Great. I was gonna come to Glenoak at maybe the begining of June, is your garage apartment still free?"

"Yeah it is. You are welcome to stay there. Your Dad can too."

"My dad..died..Ruthie..a year ago."

"Oh Martin I am so so sorry." Ruthie said sympatheicly.

"Thanks. Sorry Ruth I have to go to my next class. See you really soon."

"Bye Martin.." Martin hung up the phone and went to his next class.
