Inside his cell at Arkham Asylum, Professor Hugo Strange, the former psychiatrist of the place, ponders outside of his cell. He wonders why hasn't all of Gotham turned into zombies by a toxin he created. As he looked out, he retraces his steps on his mind. First, infect Batman an illusion that he will see zombies. Second, get him to the so-called antidote of the infection. Third, the infection spreads. Why? It's because what Batman didn't realize is that he is spreading the toxin around Gotham, not the antidote. As Strange looks impatiently outside of his cell, his teeth greeted and his eyebrows have turned down, looking angry. He looked at the sight that has shocked him: the people are still okay; they're still human.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Strange yells as he grabs his table and tosses it aside. "WHY? WHY IS EVERYONE STILL NORMAL? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! I'M SURE I DIDN'T MISS ANYTHING!"

"Oh, you didn't."

A voice just came talking to him. Strange finds that voice looking familiar to him. Looking in the asylum, it's Batman!

"It's over, Strange. I foiled your plot."

"But how?" the mad psychiatrist said.

Batman explained, "When you infected me and Robin with that toxin, it's just an illusion of your zombie world. The air is safe to breathe and there are no traces of toxin in the commissioner's hair. When you told me to get the antidote at the police station, I felt there is something suspicious going on with that request. Why did you do that? It's because I realized at the last minute that it wasn't the antidote I'm going to spread, it's the toxin of your zombie world. Now that I'm back to normal, your plan is foiled so you're still not getting a parole of your release."

As he left, Strange sits on his bed and covers his face with his hands in failure.
