The job was done. The man stood there backstage, wearing a yellow suit, with the five corpses lying on the floor. The man grinned looking at his work. He quickly got to work. He took the corpses and stiffed four of them into the animatronic suits. He tried his best to clean up his mess. He suddenly realised that there was still one corpse left. He had miscounted the number of animatronics. He panicked a bit before he remembered that there was another suit in the safe room.
He quickly carried the corpse to the safe room. There lay the suit of the forgotten yellow bear. The man quickly took of the head, stuffed the fifth corpse into the suit and re-attached the head, trying his best to keep the scene as similar as it was before. He peeked outside the door to check the clock. It was 5:40AM, the employees would be arriving soon! The man hastily got out of the suit, breaking some of the machinery in it, and left it lying in the room. He didn't care that it looked obvious that the suit had been used; he had to quickly get out! He left the two yellow suits in the safe room, locked the door again and quickly, but stealthily, escaped the scene.
The animatronics lay there, lifeless as the bodies inside them. A faint jingle started to echo throughout the building. A slender puppet flied towards the animatronics. It started to 'speak' in a weird and distorted voice which sounded like a mix of moaning and cries. And, as mysteriously as it appeared, the puppet vanished. The machinery of the animatronics started whirring to life. Tiny white lights, emitted from the endoskeletons, appeared in each of the animatronics' eyes. As the ferocious whirring of the machines started to die out again, the bear animatronic whispered out five simple words, that would strike fear into those who heard it: "Are you ready for Freddy."
The man found himself back in the pizzeria. The last time he had come to the chain of pizzerias was way back in 1987, where he had tried to pull off another set of murders. The animatronics found him though and tried to kill him. He had damaged their facial recognition systems and barely escaped with his life. However, he was soon arrested. Murder was so much easier back in the first pizzeria, where he had easily committed 6 murders. After his arrest, he had decided to accept his life in prison, but he couldn't leave his job incomplete. He had come back to once and for all rid his life of the kids, haunting the animatronics. He had to come back. He always did.
He had destroyed the suits. But the souls had been freed. He tried to hide in the yellow rabbit suit, the one he had used all those years back. The ghosts were hesitating to finish him. It would almost be 6AM and, without the suits, the ghosts would perish. The man had won. He started laughing at them. However, the machinery which had been broken started to malfunction and the springlock activated. The man felt pain and agony run throughout his body. He tried escaping the suit, but he was trapped. Springtrapped. The ghosts started to fade away. As the man started to die, the souls were finally, after many years, put to rest. The souls now had a place for him.
The man suddenly realised, the joy of creation.
