AN: Thank you for the great reviews on Small Measure of Value!! This came to me from an episode (can't recall which one) where Daniel's off timing almost caused the same results.

THAT COULD HAVE BEEN NASTY
"Ah, here we are again, embarking off for another great adventure," O'Neill slapped his chest enthusiastically, standing at the center of the ramp. "with my stalwart team of--- heeey, uh, guys? Stargate here? As in going through?"
Carter, Jackson and Teal'c all stood, staring at him with looks ranging from annoyance to wide-eyed disbelief, a few feet from the ramp. "Sir, I don't think that's wise…" the major remarked uneasily.
"This from my intrepid explorers?" The colonel scoffed. He patted his P90 confidently and adjusted his ball cap further over his brows. "I'm ready to meet whatever danger the universe deigns to throw at me with swift action."
"Then act swiftly now, O'Neill," Teal'c advised him flatly.
"Er, what?"
"He means DUCK!!!" Daniel shouted, wincing as he wrapped both arms around his own head. "INCOMING!!!!
Startled, O'Neill dropped to the ramp just as a great blue liquid cyclone gushed right over his head.
"Crap, I forgot about that part," he gasped, flat on his stomach. "That could have been nasty!"
